Award winning Trio Skandinavia consist of the danish violinist Kern Westerberg, the norwegian cellist Amalie Stalheim and the swedish pianist Daniel Hormazábal. They met during their studies at Edsberg Manor, Royal College of Music in Stockholm, in 2013 under the guideance of Prof. Mats Zetterqvist, and has since established themselves as one of the most promising chamber ensembles in Sweden. They perform extensively throughout northern Europe, with some of the highlights being performances at Stockholm Concert Hall, Hindsgavl Chamber Music Festival in Denmark and Musikaliska in Stockholm.
